Raul Castro in Egypt for NAM Summit |

EGYPT, July 14, 2009. Cuban President Raul Castro arrived in Tuesday this Egyptian city, to attend the 15th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). The aircraft that brought Raul Castro and his accompanying delegation landed at the airport of this beach resort in the Sinai Peninsula, from Algeria. The Caribbean island's delegation to the 15th Summit is comprised of Vicepresidents Ramiro Valdes and Ricardo Cabrisas, Lieutenant General Leopoldo Cintra Frias, and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez. The latter was here participating in the previous ministerial meeting. Cuba has led the NAM since the 14th Summit held in Havana in 2006, which will be transferred to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for the coming three years. (Cubaminrex- PL)
