INDIA, April 17, 2009.- Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed is leading India's delegation to the April 27-30 Ministerial Meeting of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) in Havana.

The Cuban embassy release confirms the trip of the legislator for Kerala adding that his attendance confirms the importance for New Delhi of the NAM and the host country.

The trip will take place amid the ongoing drive for the general elections until May 13 in which Ahmed will run for a sixth term.

The ministerial meeting in Havana will be NAM´s last meeting prior to the 2009 Egypt Summit. (Cubaminrex-PL)
