LESOTHO, April 22, 2009. The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has shown once more the importance it attributes to the coordination of positions among developing countries in the framework of NAM, through his commitment to be present at the upcoming NAM Ministerial Meeting to be held in Havana from 27 to 30 April.
The Lesotho delegation under the leadership of the Foreign Minister Hon. Mohlabi Kenneth Tsekoa, will attend the above mentioned meeting in which the Ministers of the NAM countries will receive a report by Cuba, in its capacity as the current Chair of NAM on the activities of the NAM as well as a Report of the Senior Officials Meeting that will precede the Ministerial meeting.
The Ministers will also adopt a Final Document in which will be reflected main NAM positions on relevant topics of the current international situation.
The Havana Ministerial Meeting will also serve as a preparatory event prior to the XV NAM Summit of Head of States and Government to be held in Egypt in next July. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Zambia)
