The official highly level delegation of Indonesia to the Ministerial meeting of the Non Aligned Movemen, that will take place in Havana, from the 27 to April 30 2009, will be head by the Foreign Minister, Dr. Hassan Wirayuda, as it was confirmed by the Minister to the Cuban Ambassador Jorge Leon.

The assistance of Indonesia to the Meeting of the Bureau of Coordination of the NAM at the level of Minister of Foreign Affairs is a recognition to the work carried out by Cuba as President of the movement, as it was declared by highly officials of the country. Besides, it constitutes an evident sample of the importance that Jakarta grants to the NAM, whose origins were gestated in Bandung, Indonesia.

This noticeable participation acquires particular meaning because in these moments the country is found immersed in an internal political process of national priority with the recent celebration of the legislative elections performed on April 9 and in the middle of the campaigns for the presidential elections that will take place next July 8.
