SURINAME, April 25 , 2009. The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Suriname Lygia Kraag-Keteldijk, will head his country's delegation to the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Countries Movement (NAM), scheduled for April 27-30 in Havana.

During the meeting, ministers from NAM member nations and observers will receive the report of Cuba, in its current capacity as president of the organization, on the Movement's recent activities as well as the Report on the Meeting of Top Officials that will precede that of Ministers.

As part of Surinamese delegation will also attend Chantal Elsenhout, Head of International Organizations Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ministerial Meeting in Havana will also serve as preparation for NAM's 15th Summit of Heads of State and Government, to be held in Egypt in July. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba Surinam)
